As set by state law, Cowlitz PUD is governed by an elected board
of three commissioners. Each commissioner represents a defined
geographic section of the county. Their terms are six years. It
is the Board's responsibility to set utility policy and to hire
and oversee the work of the general manager.
The Cowlitz PUD Board of Commissioners meets on the second and
fourth Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the John Searing Auditorium at the PUD
at 961 12th Ave in Longview. These meetings are open to the public
and customer participation is encouraged.
