Cowlitz PUD’s commercial/industrial conservation program has helped 100s of local businesses and industries to reduce electric usage, by providing financial incentives to install more efficient lighting, HVAC equipment, and Industrial processes. In the year ending September 30, 2011, the PUD invested over $7.5 million in incentives for energy efficiency improvements by our customers, made available with credits provided by BPA conservation programs funded through utility rates.

Lighting Incentives (Commercial & Industrial Sectors):

Currently we offer funding to improve inefficient lighting systems. Please review our CEEP Lighting Offer for more information and to find out how you can utilize this PUD conservation incentive program. Please note that a simple agreement (between the Customer and Cowlitz PUD) needs to be signed BEFORE starting on the project in order to qualify for incentives.

Commercial-Sector Custom Projects:

We also offer funding for custom (non-lighting) energy efficiency improvement projects on in the Commercial sector. Please review our CEEP “Custom Projects” brochure for more details. Please note that a simple agreement between the Customer and Cowlitz PUD) needs to be signed BEFORE starting on the project in order to qualify for incentives.
