
Warm Neighbor Emergency Assistance
REQUIREMENTS
- Low Income residential household – up to 200% of FPL
- Notice of Pending Disconnect / Prepay disconnected or in a negative balance
- Applicant must be listed on the PUD account and reside at the service address
- Qualifying emergency (medical, loss of job) or financial hardship
PROGRAM ASSISTANCE
- Balance required to avoid disconnect, no minimum, up to $300 max
- Disconnected Prepay customers, no minimum, up to $300 max
- A qualifying household may receive assistance once every 12 months
- In the event of a State declared emergency, customers may receive additional assistance in a 12 month period of up to $300 in total funds
PROGRAM RESTRICTIONS
- Not available for deposits, tamper fees or NSF fees
- Not available if previous fraud events
- Not available if on Moratorium Payment Plan
- Warm Neighbor cannot pay prior collection accounts

- Year round or until funds are depleted

- Submit your application AND income to PUD for review: customerservice@cowlitzpud.org or 961 12th Avenue, Longview
- PUD to determine eligibility – A Customer Service Representative will also review your account with you to see if you may qualify for other programs with the PUD or other outside agencies.
