Ductless Heat Pump Pilot Program
Cowlitz PUD announces a limited pilot program to install ductless heat pumps in your neighborhood! We are seeking 12 homes to install ductless heat pumps in Longview and Kelso.
Eligible households will meet these criteria
- Income Qualified (same eligibility as for energy assistance)
- Owner occupied
- Home is heated by some form of electric resistance heat (baseboard heaters, in-wall heaters, electric forced air furnace, ceiling cable heat)
- 900 square feet or less
- Single story
Why install a ductless heat pump?
Ductless heat pumps reduce the cost of heating your home by approximately 50% and provide air conditioning in the summer.
