Ductless Heat Pump Pilot Program

Cowlitz PUD announces a limited pilot program to install ductless heat pumps in your neighborhood! We are seeking 12 homes to install ductless heat pumps in the Highlands neighborhoods and South Kelso.

Eligible households will meet these criteria

  • Income Qualified (same eligibility as for energy assistance)
  • Owner occupied
  • Home is heated by some form of electric resistance heat (baseboard heaters, in-wall heaters, electric forced air furnace, ceiling cable heat)
  • 900 square feet or less
  • Single story
  • Be located within the boundaries of Highlands and South Kelso neighborhoods:
    • Highlands neighborhoods include Highlands 1, 2, 3, and 4. The east side boundary is Oregon Way, north boundary is Beech Street, the west boundary is Industrial Way, the south boundary is the railroad tracks along Industrial Way.
    • South Kelso neighborhood boundary is 13th Avenue on the east, Mill Street to the north, Pacific Avenue on the west, and Hazel Street on the south.
