Storm season is upon us. To assist us in restoring your power as quickly as possible, we ask that customers please report outages through SmartHub by clicking the orange\u00a0Report an Outage\/Inquiry<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0button in SmartHub.<\/p>\n

Reporting an outage through SmartHub is easy and will instantly report your outage in our system, whether it’s a widespread storm event or just your power.<\/p>\n

Bad weather in the fall and winter brings a greater chance of power outages – normally caused by high winds and falling trees and limbs.<\/p>\n

Even though bad weather in the fall and winter months is the primary cause of power outages, your power can go out anytime of the year and for any number of reasons. Typically a power outage will last 2-4 hours, but in severe weather conditions can last all day or more. If you’re prepared for an outage it is much easier to endure.<\/p>\n
